The Fiji Corrections Service is the first Government Department that has purchased four all-terrain vehicles to assist in preventative patrol.
The vehicles will be distributed in Suva, Nasinu, Lautoka and Naboro and will be used in patrolling the boundaries and farmland of the respective institutions.
The four quad bikes were purchased under the Specialized vehicles budget of $2.7million which was approved by Government for 2014.
