Officers from the Naboro Corrections Centre pose with residents of the Father Law Home in Wailekutu.

The Fiji Corrections Service took part in their last Civic Pride Programme for this year this morning. Officers from Naboro cleaned up the Father Law Home in Wailekutu, officers from the Suva Corrections Centre cleaned up at the Senior Citizen’s Home in Samabula whilst officers from the National Headquarters cleaned up and served breakfast to senior citizens at Pearce Home in Suva.
The Civic Pride programme has always been part of the FCS calender of events and this is an opportunity for the officers to give back to the unfortunate as well as senior citizens of the country.

“This is the season of forgiveness as well as caring for one another and what better way to express this but by showing our senior citizens that we care for them.”

The FCS have been participating in many civic pride programmes over the year and will continue again in January next year.
