In a bid to promote healthy living and meets its social community obligation, more than hundred officers from the Fiji Corrections Service led by the Commissioner of Corrections  Lt.Colonel Ifereimi Vasu and his senior officers  took their time out this morning on a Cleanup campaign.

Corrections Service Deputy Commissioner Superintendent Akuila Namakadre said the clean-up campaign held simultaneously  in all the four Divisions -Western, Southern, Central Eastern and the Northern division.

“Such Clean-up campaign its part of the Corrections Service monthly community engagement  and we have another five Civic Pride still yet to be done before the end of this year. This Campaign is also in line with Government intent in supporting the prevention of Non- Communicable disease,” said Supt Namakadre.

He added that FCS will continue to interact a lot of with members of the community in terms of clean-up campaign and social responsibilities.
